Bonnie Adam has always enjoyed helping others to feel better. Her first career as an Early Childhood Educator gradually shifted as her children went off to school and her interest in health and wellness evolved into a part-time business incorporating Reiki, energy work and other holistic therapies. She earned her diploma in acupuncture in 2011 and has continually added to her skill set since. In addition to being a Registered Acupuncturist with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario, Bonnie completed an extra year of training in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is also a Certified Cupping Therapist with The International Cupping Therapy Association. To help you to improve your health Bonnie offers acupuncture, cupping therapy, acupressure massage, cosmetic acupuncture and cosmetic cupping therapy. Jeannette is a Certified Foot, Hand, and Face Reflexologist as well as a certified Cupping Therapist. She will be offering Hand and Foot Reflexology Sessions at Affordable Acupuncture on Thursday mornings. She is available for treatments through Pathways Healing on Mondays until April, and will expand availability after April 1st. Reflexology is the application of pressure to areas on the hands or feet. Reflexology is relaxing and may help to alleviate stress. The theory behind reflexology is that areas or zones on the hands and feet correspond to the organs and systems of the body. Pressure and massage applied to these zones can help to bring relaxation and promote healing to the corresponding area of the body. According to The Mayo Clinic, several studies indicate that reflexology can help with pain management, and other psychological symptoms, such as stress, anxiety and sleep quality. Jeannette is also well versed in meridian and acupressure theories and will incorporate those theories into her treatments. Lisa began her career in the health care field as a Personal Support Care Worker (PSW) and has worked with physically and developmentally challenged adults as well as seniors in retirement and nursing home settings.

Her appreciation of the regenerative abilities of the human body led her into a specialization of hands-on therapies.

She is a graduate of The Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, and has taken additional training in Pregnancy, Aromatherapy, Hot stone Massage, Myofascial Release and Craniosacral Therapies as well as Cupping.

Lisa also has over 25 years experience in non –traditional therapies such as Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Guasha, Fascial Cupping, Reiki and Crystal healing.
